What’s everyone’s opinions on DRC? Is it a must have ?
Who doesn’t have it and is happy with the ride quality?

Re: DRC.... opinions
You will never get a decent answer....drive both and make your own mind up. Some will say it's a must, others will say you don't need it. All depends on your local roads, how you use the car and what you are comparing it against.
I had DRC on my B8 and had issues with it within week 1 of ownership. When looking for a B9 it wasn't a deal breaker so focussed on other options...however I did drive a car with it and it was noticeably more comfortable, it does make a good difference.
Now I've had mine for 3 months or so...I don't miss it as such but if I was ordering a new one I'd probably spec it just for that extra compliance it provides on really rough roads. The ride is fairly firm (on 20's) without it but not uncomfortable by any stretch and my wife and passengers have always commented how comfortable it is.

I have DRC on mine (and 19s) and it rides and handles really well. Noticeably better than the non DRC car on 20s that I road tested before buying. I leave suspension in Auto and let the car work everything out as the roads I drive are pretty crap. But try both. Part of the issue with cars on 20s is that they run much higher pressures which, with their lower side walls, does firm up the ride.
DRC is about reduced roll on cornering and pitch on braking, not ride quality.

I have 20” wheels and DRC on my 2018 B9 RS4. I have no issues with ride quality. Most of the time I have the suspension set to comfort. Just as a comparison my fathers 2016 Skoda Octavia estate on 17” wheels ride feels like mine in Dynamic mode, but the Skoda isn’t adjustable so it’s always rock hard.
Cornering with DRC is excellent.
