Dings dents and detailing

My 2018 RS4 has been superb in all departments but it's picked up a few car park war wounds over the last couple of years and i'd like to have it restored to full sparkliness! There's probably half a dozen minor dings across various panels and one alloy has a minor bit of damage. The car has been cleaned but tbh hasn't been polished and shown a lot of love. I've seen mention of 'detailing' but not quite sure what this involves. So my question - is there somewhere ideally in the South East that anyone could recommend that could deal with minor dents and give the car a thorough deep clean or do i need to find a bodyshop and then get someone else to do the cleaning / polishing?
