Paddle swap

B9 RS4 Paddles swap from 2018 to 2020

Set the steering wheel as shown in step 1 then disconnect the battery before trying to remove the air bag

Step 1 position the steering wheel as shown to access the locking mechanism hole there are 2 positioned at about 4 and 7 o clock release 1 side the turn the steering wheel to access the other to fully release the air bag

Step 2 disconnect the battery

Step 3 remove the air bag using the access holes to release the bag
these are at 4 and 7 o clock on the steering wheel
pull the steering wheel fully out and down to access the locking mechanism
(this was a pain see the video to demonstrate the release of the mechanism

Step 4 Remove the trim on the steering wheel to access the paddle screws and the connectors

New paddles Then un clip the connectors the just pop out and unscrew the paddle and replace with the new set
Re fit the trim and air bag and reconnect the battery and you’re done
