Fairly expensive to do and I laid it myself too - did a load of research, the tiles are completely smooth on the underside so no risk of dents in the surface if a trolley jack is used.
5x5.50 metres was about £970.

Seeing that makes me realise how little space I have in my garage. Mine's a similar size to yours, but I can barely see the back wall for all the stuff in there

Yeah know the feeling, not in the garage but in the shed...got to grips with putting shelving in, hanging up tools and garden chairs...achieved the 'Tardis effect' seeks bigger on the inside and we'd been debating buying a larger shed too.
We do garage our cars - having a roller curtain door where there is no frame makes the opening wider so no scraping ice of the windows, better security, cheaper insurance...in fact with the NFU garaging was a stipulated requirement for the RSQ3 between 10 at night and 7 in the morning.

Re: who else has been polishing
Good evening!
RS4 vs RSQ3 Performance? The RS4 is, without doubt a better car in almost every respect, fabulously competent at everything to the point that other than a race track it seems near impossible to reach the ragged edge where one can feel the tug of a terminal disaster. It wasn't however, for me, enough fun to drive. Looking back now I wonder if the culprit, the fun-factor-robbing feature was DRC. DRC virtually eliminates rear-end squat during acceleration, front-end dive under braking and keeps the body near-flat during cornering - very clever but not very involving for the driver.
The 8U RSQ3 has almost the same level of straight line performance - (4.4s to 60 vs 4.3 in the RS4 - though I think both are quicker in the real world) with an addictive sound track from the 5 pot engine howl ..Arrive at a corner however and where as the RS4 would sail round with nary a twitch the RSQ3 with a higher centre of gravity, no Sports Diff and more basic suspension will seriously consider a trip into the hedge - which I strangely like (weird I do realise - it has character). The solution is to shed the speed before the corner - the massive 8 pot caliper brakes and huge discs are simply the best stoppers I've ever experienced in a road car is some 46 years of driving - and then boot the thing out of the bend. An RS4 would be out of sight by then!
The RSQ3 has a very pronounced split personality, driven normally it's naturally very quick, urgent. Press the pedal a teeny-weeny bit harder and it goes completely mental as the single turbo get's into it's stride - and that's without using Sport mode which raises the shift points up the rev range/and are much more aggressive changes. With the RS4 I recall it being an incredibly linear shove in the back - permanently quick.
I really liked my RS4 ( except the positively dangerous Pedestrian Assist feature and DRC as above I suspect), all the technology (think the 2020 model has nailed it properly now too and love the facelift exterior as well). Maybe I should drive a non-DRC RS4 and re-assess?
West London Audi gave me a very generous PX price for RS4 (I think I lost £850 in 6 months), they put it up for £59,995 and then started reducing the price, it went down to less than £55k and then they pumped it out into the trade, I saw it on one of the Prestige used car sites for a while back up at just shy of £60k and it got sold.
Running cost wise - the RSQ3 Perf is more expensive to run, average fuel economy is around 23mpg and I've seen 15mpg , I'd get nudging 30 in the RS4, servicing costs are higher, i.e. spark plugs every 20,000 miles at £200+ a set... Audi supply only.

Re: who else has been polishing
Sounds great John, a good mini review there, its always interesting to hear the comparison in the real world.
I love the facelift RS4 it looks stunning, glad I didn't opt for DRC, as you say the grip is unreal.
Speak soon all the best enjoy the RSQ3
