New RS4 Navarra Ordered

Found out last week that one of my options had been missed off the order! Now back to square one with a new order date of the 4th of June and a very frustrating long wait - again. Back at 00 on the build and in Brussels its like a horrible game of snakes and ladders.

Missing option a deal breaker then?
I’ve had a couple of cars that actually turned up with wrong options. I still took them. I couldn’t face the long wait again!
There was a sweetener involved to ease the mistake in both cases though.........!

They missed off the sound and comfort pack and I really wanted the B&O system, prepared to wait rather than regret not having it.

How did it happen? We all check our orders scrupulously.
I went to the production line last summer. The cars are built by robot in an enormous factory (pretty much 100% robot assembled and painted). Good day out if your in Southern Germany.

I checked the manufacturing code against the config code it was correct, the order went in the day before lock down and the person inputting the data made a mistake I suppose not surprising given the circumstances. Still hoping for an early build date but will just have to wait and see.

So my new baby has arrived !! I thought with Covid there was no chance would actually make here on schedule. As a kid all I ever wanted was a Porsche, but then when the RS2 & 4 came along turns out what I really wanted was a fast wagon, not sure why tbh, was pre family etc.but for some reason turned my crank ...

I know there are better looking, sounding, handling, practical cars but in the one package I don't think much can touch this. Coming from my 09 A4 2T this thing is another planet ....

I was torn between Navarra and Tango, but haven't had a red car in ages was clincher. Looking at yours I know I'd have been well chuffed with Navarra was well.
