Forum is quiet, ....and so just grabbing at straws.

While I like speed, personally I don't care too much for records & bragging rights, otherwise I'd be looking elsewhere for wheels.
That being said attached link lists 'an average' of 11 sources for 0~100kp/h times, being 3.8s versus 4.1s official - http://www.zeperfs.com/en/fiche6948-audi-rs4-avant.htm

Not trying to fact check in the literal sense, ...... but anyone doubt or challenge these reports versus the official figure, OR are there those that own / drive a B9 here also convinced from own timing(s) that it performs faster than official 0~100 4.1s official figure?

These differences can be explained by rollout, at least to some extent.
It is standard practice to use rollout in the USA but NOT here in Europe and so the factory official figures (for Europe) will have no rollout.
A VBox comes configured with 1 foot of rollout as standard (which can be removed).
Even 1 foot of rollout results in 0.2 to 0.3 a second reduction in the 0 to 60 sprint.

Thanks. Living under a rock as had not come across this roll out factor before. Did some reading and understand better now.

And so, when European car magazine / web reviews/ers make & report 0-60 times, showing faster than OEM official reported, it's more often than not because the measuring devices they use are likely calibrated 'with' roll out .....or so I am now left to understand.
