What do people do for cleaning the black exhaust tips on their RS4’s?

Quick search around the internet has lots of advice from BMW owners around cleaning BMW black exhaust tips but also a lot of confusion and doubt about what to use and damaging the finish, etc.

Interested on what you guys do as part of your cleaning regime before I do something that’ll damage the tips.

I did mine with Brasso...it's a black chrome finish - pretty durable.

Just soapwater and a bit of acf50 afterwards.
Especially in wintertime, they corrode.
