Hi any guru's out there managed to code the button to remember its last setting
I know its no hard ship to press it on start up but i just keep forgetting and think the car has stalled then realise the start stop is active
I managed to get the coding for my wife's SQ5 a few years back but not see anything for the B9

Re: Start stop button
I appreciate this doesn't answer your questions, but I tend to drive my car always in S mode, and the Start/Stop ruction is de-activated in that mode

Re: Start stop button
Cheers Graeme
I never new that S mode disabled the stop star function good to know
I have the car in dynamic all the time but switch to D until oil warmed up the on to manual mode
Ill give the S mode a go
But will still try and find a coding solution

Re: Start stop button
I also would love to be able to do the same so please let me know if you manage it.
I tried a tool called OBDeleven but had no luck (could be just me but I have not found anyone else who managed to code out stop/start on a B9).
The Vagcom people say they can do it, at a much higher cost than OBD11 but again I could not get any independent verification.
Coding a BMW is much easier so I'm not sure why Audi make it so difficult (I'm assuming the problem is protection added by Audi).

Re: Start stop button
It was possible on the C7 as I did it to mine. I'm sure it is possible on the B9 too, but maybe no-one has worked out the coding yet.
Re: Start stop button
Aye there are a few different coding versions out there ill give them a go and report back
