Congratulations - how long to export and ship a car to Cyprus? Presumably it has to get put into a container and sent as sea freight?

Yes, flying over to the UK week after next to take delivery, enjoy for 2-3 days and then hand over to a freight-forwarder. I’ve been told it will tale 3-4 weeks to get to Cyprus. Very excited - this has been my dream car for quite a while!!

Yep. The only extra which i really wanted to have but that is missing is the front sense and the associated adaptive cruise control. Apart from that, it’s a stunning car!

Did you come over to see the actual car, or go with the photo,s? I live in norwich and haven’t bought any of my last 5 Audi’s from them, never met with a good enough deal. One thing I would say is there cars tend to be dreadfully scratched even unregistered cars in The showroom are bad, may want to consider getting the car machine polished before you get it.

Yes, I never let them wash my car when it's in for service.
I have never bought a car from them. They have never had what I want. My brother bought a TTS from them and it had a smart repair to a diamond cut wheel. They replaced it, in fact I think so far they have replaced 3 wheels as they were marked.
I think like a lot of garages there prep is not the best but for 90% of people it is good enough.
I agree it will probably need a good detail.

Thanks for the warnings guys. In my naivety, I assumed that, since it is from an Audi dealer, there should not be any issues. Do you guys think it would be worthwhile to order one the AA independent inspections?

Mechanically I don't think there will be a problem, I think it depends how fussy you are about paint?
I don't think the AA do paint inspections.

Sorry didn’t want to make you nervous, I’m sure Audi would only sell A1 car mechanically, it’s just the Swirl marks on the paint work that I would be amazed if it didn’t have them as i’M sure they don’t care too much in the washing department.

I take it you mean the swirls you get from a car wash? They come out with a quick polish, don’t they?

That grin doesn't go anywhere.
Are you happy with it? Everything went smoothly I guess?
