Dark/Clear - Rear Light Clusters - Audi Part

Post by bing0r » Wed Apr 24, 2019 5:28 pm

Has anyone here replaced their rear tail lights with the Audi Clear/Dark Tinted version?

if so, is it a direct swap and was it easy to fit?

I have seen a few cars on insta with them on and look pretty good.

I sent off an enquiry to Crewe Audi for some pricing details. Local dealer quoted £632.00 EACH???, which left me a bit perplexed, as Audi website seems to indicate its for both.

Or £2300 for a new set on eBay (without tyres) ;)

Realize that there are no new RS4 orders being taken in much Europe now, BUT it seems the next "A4" range Minor Model Change will have new FR headlights .... & RR light Cluster, the latter with same package but different optics, incl chrome bar trim through center of light (some scoop / spy pics on other links).
Q : Might you prefer wait for that to come on to market (later this year??), and look for smoke black on those 'latest' lights?

Just a reference comment.
