Driving an object of desire

Is it just me or do you get approached frequently by people who want to know more about the RS4? Was at the Kibworth shooting ground in Leicestershire today and had 5 separate approaches from people wanting to know, primarily, what lives under the bonnet or generally remarking on the vehicle's beauty - Misano does look good in bright sunshine.

Mine is quite subtle with no badges and black kit - I’ve been asked a few times what the RS6 is like 😂 suits me to be honest - but I’d be lying if I said I didn’t quite like the attention having driven brilliant but slightly dull cars like 330d up until now.......

Yep, in just a few weeks I’ve had a lot of attention. Mostly cos it’s green (I’m still getting used to the colour but others seem to adore it), but I’ve noticed most of those who comment seem to be drivers of “standard” A4 Avants. I guess they have a heightened awareness (as we all do to similar models to that which we drive). But also younger folks (groups hanging outside Aldi etc) seem to know what it is. You’d think they’d see it’s an estate and switch off, but apparently not 😃

Yes quite a few times, mainly early on and doesn't seem so much now. Been flagged down when leaving a car park by a BM driver, had a 15 minute conversation in Wickes car park by another. My children say that lots of people keep looking at the car but I don't think it happens as much now as it used to. So I think it's probably a new model thing than an object of desire after all its a fast estate.
