If your car came with Pirelli tyre you might see 6k
And they are the single most worst tyre for the RS4

I recently had to change my summer tyres due to s side wall puncher i have run Michelin Pilot sports since my B7 and if i didn't have a puncher i would have got around 20k out of them
But wear will be down to driving style and how anal you are about checking the pressures

Mine is nudging 11,000 miles and has about 4mm or maybe a tad more on the rears - currently on Conti 6, like Pirelli, Continentals have a poor reputation for wear so I've been looking at options too and Michelin Pilot seem highly regarded - they come with a premium price in 275/30 - 20 - 97Y fitment too.

On 12K with Hankooks and loads left on them. They also have pretty good rim protection and so far so good, jinxed that now next thread where can I get wheels refurbished!

I expect my Conti Sport Contact 6s to last 15 Kmiles. Front wearing more than rears so I should probably swap front to rear at 7.5 Kmiles.
They may last longer, it's hard to tell, they only have 6.5mm tread when new.
I will replace with the same tyre as I know it is rated as (at least) one of the best tyres in the segment. The only other option is the Michelin Pilot Sport 4S but they have the same wear rate and performance according to the "Tyre Reviews" youtuber.

I reckon I could get 30 Kmiles out of these Sport Contact 6s but if I wanted to drive like that then I would not have bought an RS, but I have no doubt 30 Kmiles can be done.

My Contis look good for 12-14k. But I switched the wheels and am on MPS4S now - only 4k in.

Just short of 12.5k and having to replace the fronts, the inner tread has warn quicker, might as for pilots then if decent as currently ccs6.
Don’t know why but expected a little more out of them as not really had much opportunities to drive hard.

Just asked them that or should I say that I told them that the balancing must be out.
Response I got was does it drive in a straight line and the wheels have a camber that means the inside will wear first...
This coming from a dealer that I’ve had to tell them about DRC, as the initial response was you’ll have to drive in different modes on different surfaces and there nothing that can be done as all DRC will make some noise in comfort ..

Most times by driving a car with the chassis alignment out you can't tell - will probably still drive in a straight line, however once you have had it done (properly) the difference is night and day - the car is so much more agile and one is of course confident that the tyres aren't being shredded unnecessarily. Properly set up the car shouldn't wear the inner edges of the tyre - mine hasn't and was a driven-hard press fleet car like yours.

The company I used here in Warwick evidently do it for local franchised/independents and have customers that travel up from London to get it done. I've heard tales of a Mini dealer in central London charging £350 - the Warwick company charges about £70.

I might have to make a business trip down to Warwick some time soon.

Wish I’d read this thread before I agreed to putting 4 Pirelli on yesterday . For others reading was very impressed by Continental Sport Contact 6 - 18500 miles and pretty much 2.5mm remaining at change, but have had 2 nicks down to wire so caveat with that. I can also highly recommend Combined Tyre and Alloy cover from Shortfall Gap Insurance - has 3 tyres now, no question due to nicks down to wire and connected to OneLink so most big garages can claim online. Sadly 2 of them will be 2 of the 4 Pirelli - eek.
