I've been thinking of sticking an order in, but then saw that latest update about a refresh on Evo so told dealer was holding off for moment. Dealer has checked in with Audi and been told an RS4 refresh is 3 yrs away ......

Thanks for the update Swegen. Makes sense who would fl a model that has been for sale for half a year and then paused.

Hi Swegen, but won't the A4 Full Model Change be within '3 years away', and so that would be timing for RS4 FMC soon thereafter rather than for a B9 RS4 MMC. The link / pics in original post do show different Lighting (Rear OLED's & Front Design) for RS4, so regardless of Interior or Powertrain changes - those being just hearsay at this point - the Light changes and Winter Testing does suggest that a Facelift would be pending sooner, no?

[That New M3 is coming out with reportedly 474bhp(?) standard, and then a Competition pack with 500+, and so one wonders might that be an incentive for Porsche-Audi to up the output off the RS5 & RS4 engines before FMC is planned?? Or maybe, with all the HEV development activity, NOT??:) ]

450 is poor

Said that since day one.

A facelift two years in is about right to be fair.

The car should have been 500 bhp since day one....

And at least sound good....the worst sounding RS model yet!!!

WLTP and noise Regs though; afaik Audi are already compliant with future noise Regs. Agree that it is too quiet from the factory.

Been told yesterday that the newfacelift A4 will be getting the dual touch screen dash, so if they do release a facelift rs4 b9.5 then it will have dual screen

Touch screen will be a useful addition. M3 had touch screen and I really miss it.
Sooooo many people will say it is useless but in some circumstances it is indespensable, especially in Apple Car Play or Android Auto.

For Carplay I vote yes, that is utter useless without a touchscreen, but it still is a fingerprint magnet.
Especially the gloss ones Audi uses.

I can't make much out of this, even after Google translate it just says what has been reported to date, but FWIW .....

It looks like an artist impression - the RS4 needs more than just power, it needs some character injecting into it.

It's fast and has amazing handling but somehow misses the mark in a way that's hard to describe. Mine's been gone a week and I don't miss it at all. RS Audis have been outstanding vehicles - examples of best in class with an edge to them that makes you smile every time you hit the starter button - it's more than just outright speed or go-kart handling, it needs to feel really special and sound like it too.

Same here John, looks great and goes well but lack of sound has removed the "edge" that RS models must have imho. Tbf it doesn't even sound as good as a S4/5 which itself still doesn't sound great either!

Different strokes, different folks. I love having a fast great handling estate that slips under the radar (mine is boring silver and de-badged). It makes a great Q car - which is what I think RS estates do so well (C7 aside which looked very aggressive). Perfect daily for me and the dog. Just need another GT3 for the weekend.

RS models are back up in the configurator.
RS4 interior looks the same, as is performance.
Mpg # and co2 has risen (208gr instead of 199/200)
Price of some options has gone up (milled wheels are now 5k €!)
