General interest only & no big surprise that Porsche is using their variant of B9 RS4 engine also in the Macan. ‘Slightly’ de/tuned not to exceed RS4/5 models:) - well you’d suspect that Porsche/Audi shook hands on that in Product Planning?

My RS4 was embarrassingly quiet, partly the reason I got rid. If the FL version is quieter still ...

Does anyone know the expected delivery dates for the FL RS4 for the UK market ?

My Dealer does not know anything about it & does not expect a FL until late 2020 !

A facelifted RS4 Avant will arrive towards the end of Q1 in 2020 ... the wait continues

Still could be worse imagine if you were hanging out for a new beemer https://www.evo.co.uk/bmw/4-series/2017 ... s-and-m3m4 .. I suppose it could ummm grow on you .... and think of all the wood you could chuck.

Whilst I'm not a fan of the new beemer - at least its an escape from the 'styling rut' they seem to have got stuck in for several years.

First pictures are out, not a fan of the kinda plain front bumper except the quattro airvent under the bonnet, and certainly not a fan of the touchscreen.
Lightclusters are nice.
No big changes.

Looks like it has the 2 preset RS mode too now.
Instruments have been updated too, the new mmi is an improvement too, but that touchscreen interface... I prefer the old one.

Paddle Shifters (@4:27) have different design. Cosmetic only or function-feel also?
