just watched a review ("Misha Charoudin"). He has Mark ? with him (head of Audi A series design) and Mark says "I'm not allowed to say anything but I think you can expect RS4".
The topic comes up because the S4 now has the Ur Quattro bodywork features that has previously been RS only.

BIG TIME pulling at straws here, BUT I can't see Audi investing in too much new sheet metal for (low volume) RS4 mid cycle model change, ...more likely on carry over from A4 range eg headlights, rear lights, interior display, etc. ......AND what engine tweak they can piggy back off of other development(s). [Maybe also exhaust sound tweak].

IF S6 is getting mild-hybrid per following quote - usually in my understanding S6 is a dumbed down version ofd RS4 engine offering - so might RS4 mid cycle change follow along similar lines???

I guess we will not know until the models are announced but does anyone know exactly what "mild hybrid" is?

Think the top image in the linked article is the official Audi "teaser" one, the bottom one of the grey RS4 is a render that's been floating around for a couple of months IIRC.
