Just wondering what you guys prefer when on the motorway
Switching on ACC and letting that do the driving
Or let your foot do the driving ?

Also is the ACC more or less fuel efficient?

I leave the car in CC when on the m/way and also in 30 limits just taking over when it's obvious that the speed can't be maintained. Is ACC the radar based version?

Being a flat earth luddite I ignored ACC for about a month but have now come to respect it's capabilities, on the motorway it's really useful especially as the legal limit is so effortlessly exceeded - it might be slightly more economic fuel wise. Though TBH the best consumption figures I've seen have involved runs down the motorway anyway.

I use ACC in average speed areas on the motorway or when it is crawling traffic, for which it is perfect. But if not an average speed limited area I like to give it some beans when the road clears up. A guy's gotta have fun!

Once you've had it, going back to a car without it, is rather annoying. My advice is also to leave the ACC in Auto (Audi Drive Select - Individual) for the best user experience.

What's the difference?

Just how aggressively the throttle and brakes are applied? Important to mention what you did in another post too. About it using the rear brakes a lot.

Yeah exactly that.

Did you know that when you pull the ACC lever it accelerates? I didn't and was quite surprised
