It used to be every other day in the SQ5 hence why I got the big bus. Weekly it is now.

Re: Red missile in for Detailing
Surely you can fit 2 of 3 in the back of the 7 now so you can do it every third week, save yourself some fuel in the process.
Cheers
Re: Red missile in for Detailing
Dude you don’t know me too well yet. I go through 10 a week and that’s when it’s quiet. Xmas time at the mo could mean I might need a trailer too.

Re: Red missile in for Detailing
I was just airing on the side of caution, wouldn’t want to offend anyone
10 a week is a fair task though, reminds me of this
Rather than a trailer you could surely utilise the roof bars? You might think it’s extra lifting but if you finish a ride already up there, then you just have to roll them off at the dump.
Cheers

Re: Red missile in for Detailing
Getting back on track lads....
Dropped over to see Connor Birch at Flawless Detailing over in Coventry to see how the RS was getting on. Once decontaminated with all the old polish removed it was clear to see that the paintwork was three parts ruined - most likely damage from brush car washes and rough cleaning. Under bright white lights the whirls and general marring was visibly deep. Audi lacquer is hard, really hard so it's taken a lot of effort just to get the 1st cut done, almost complete now. The pictures below are at stage 1:
The plastic sheeting on the floor was to catch any water drips when the vehicle was taken into the detailing area following the decontamination wash.
Looks pretty good already. Tonight and tomorrow will see the 2nd stage, finer, stage of the polish process take place followed by the ceramic coating on Saturday.

Re: Red missile in for Detailing
Collected the car from Flawless Detailing in Coventry this evening with the wonderful UK weather doing it's absolute level best to spoil it, crikey I've missed it this week. The car in the Flawless detailing bay looked amazing tonight, got back to my garage and just blew the water droplets off the bonnet. Should have some more pics tomorrow and a video too.
