Gig80 - private message - unable to send

A new member, Gig80, evidently contemplating a ex Press car RS4 purchase has pinged me a PM. I've replied but the message is in the Outbox - checking Gig80's profile they have made zero posts - would that be reason that I can't send a message?

You've sent it but it stays in your outbox until he reads it.
