+1

I would have thought that if Audi UK don't open the RS4 B9 order book again soon then it probably won't happen. The Audi UK Approved used site is down to 14 used examples now and with nearly all the dealers asking ambitious prices one wonders if the residual values are stronger than would have otherwise be expected as the average asking price is about £5k higher than it was in Oct '18.

Gone, 2018 B9 RS4

It does - however the old sales adage of 'sell what you've got rather than what you'd like to have' probably applies - VAG have more current emission standard compliant diesel engines than petrol.

I'd be hugely surprised if Audi reopen the S4/RS4 order book this side of March 29th. No doubt there will be a small price increase due to the passage of time, to also have to deal with a further possible EU/WTO tariff related increase in a few weeks will not be the best PR. In January, a rather bored "RS Specialist" in Audi told me that S4 was going to start week 11, but that does not seem to be happening. But he did say that Audi play cards close to their chest, so anything could happen.
I agree with above posts, the 2nd prices that dealers are asking for are opportunistic, and if the B9 ends or there is a major facelift then a few purchasers will be swallowing large depreciation hits.

You make a good point

A number of high value cars have disappeared off the price lists, Alfa QF models for example, whilst we wait to see if there is a no deal

As I’ve mentioned elsewhere I’ve added to sign a letter for Porsche saying I accept a possible 10% increase in price if there is a no deal on Mrs new car

Though largely off topic from the Thread Subject, the attached link, which does reference WLTP & general overall Audi Production status & challenges (NOT RS4 specific), is a good read I thought.
Presumably there’s no issue pointing share with a direct link.

https://www.automobilemag.com/news/audi ... oduct/amp/

..... does have a dosage of glum news for Audi in both current time & short/mid term future. ‘Dressed up Porsche’s and VW’s’ ?? I hope not entirely.
