A heads up to all RS4 owners...
I'm not sure the RS5 has the same issue, but they do have the same seats.

As mentioned in the title, my seat needs new upholstery!
The seatbelt holder damaged it, and it may affect many seats...
I checked at the dealer they still had one in the showroom, same issue!!!

Have it corrected if you have the same issue with the seatbelt holder, it WILL beat your seat up if it's mounted at the wrong angle.

I added pics and an explanation of the issue in my owners thread:

Wow. Looks like there will be many.

The dealer told me Audi was acting very difficult in seat damage.
One customer had seam damage in the middle, probably some bad stitching.
They tried to revoke it due to wearing the wrong pants (jeans)
That car was 2 days old.

The dealer said mine will be replaced in warranty, but there is not yet a delivery date for the part.

It just depends how the holder is mounted.
If you pull and then bend it inwards and it touches the upholstery you're screwed on the long or short term.
Passenger side is fine on mine it completely misses the seat when bended.

Yes, indeed. Another seat that’s ruined. 😢
This will happen to many.

I have exactly the same issue. Spoke to my local Audi dealer and they say they need to speak to Audi UK and report it to the factory as it is considered a quality control issue. Hopefully they will be replacing the lower seat leather, but they said it may be a drawn out process.

Is the bolt that secures the seat belt latch easy to get at to be adjusted
Or is it a seat out job to reposition it so it is not touching the seat
