B9, Service Book or Not?

After 3 B7,s and 3 B8's I've just taken the plunge and bought a Missano B9. I'm loving the car, performance is impressive!!
Just wondering if other owners have had a service wallet supplied with the car. B7 had a full service book that could be stamped by the dealer, the B8 had an Audi Service Wallet which was a wallet with the vin
Sticker inside the front cover designed for service invoices to be kept in.
Dealer says that the B9 doesn't have a service wallet, are you chaps in agreement??

No Audi after around 2012 or 2013 comes with a service book. When my household bought a recent Audi used approved (six months old) I simply bought a service book from Audi, wrote the vin on the inside cover, and got the dealer to stamp the inside cover the day we collected the car. Our local dealer didn't have any issue stamping the book when it went in for its first service (second service booked next week)

I think Audi keep an electronic record of each cars service history on central servers. You can view it in the MyAudi app.
This might have a bearing on the existence of a service booklet.
I will keep the receipts but I have no booklet for a dealer to stamp.

Nope, no service book with my B9. It's registered and stored in the ECU so the dealer can just pull it up

Just to update this thread, second service completed, dealer had no issue whatsoever stamping book, well worth the £15 the book cost me imo.
