Hey guys, long time BMW man that’s contemplating a change of breed to Audi..currently driving an f80 M3 competition package, which I do still love, but something about the new RS4 is pulling me in.. maybe it’s the 4wd grip and nicer interior but I’m currently waiting on figures on a Signal green carbon edition car.
Weather or not it’s doable is another matter, I have a feeling there will be negative equity on my M3 as I’m 20 months into a 48 month pcp on it.
The car...

You will have plenty time to save up. I ordered mine start of May and still no build date. New orders will be well into next year but the looks of it. When I chased mine up the dealer said probably January before I get mine.

I guess he’s looking at the stock car in the photo. Will be paying list though I assume. That’s ouchy.

Unfortunately unless you paid a hefty deposit and got a great discount you will be in for negative equity. That will be one rare car if you do get your hands on it.

Agreed.
Not many Carbon Editions as they withdrew the option. To then to have an Exclusive painted one which has also been withdrawn, will certainly make it a very rare car.

Good time for a discount surely as un reg'd cars at end of Aug 18 are basically scrap metal aren't they due to wltp?

But Audi say the RS4 is already WLTP compliant, and provided that it really is, then dealer doesn't need to panic discount.

I put in £7500 at the start of my M3, I have already looked into RS5’s which seemed to come with a hefty bit of discount without even trying (over £10k)
I walked in yesterday and saw this one and was like wow! My M3 is bright orange (individual paint) and I do like shouty colours it has to be said. I’m waiting on them to get me figures on it but he did say yesterday they want it sold cause it’s not everyone’s cup of tea, he said people look at it, say, that’s stunning, I’ll have mine in silver please lol.

Rare to see a salesman who would down-sell his car.

Don't you think in 2 years they will be offering carbon pack and exclusive paint again? I think there is a chance we might see a reappearance once the WLTP shizzle is over and once sales start to drop.

I wouldn't be expecting RS5 levels of discount though even with the dealers keaness to shift it as apparently RS5s have not been selling anywhere near the numbers that the RS4s have.

GFV on the CE after 3years (and 10k miles a year) is c£37k. So take the £71,250 base price, add the cost of the fitted options (Ex paint at £2k etc) and add the APR, then subtract the GFV and that’s how much you’ll be funding over 3years.
In short, it’ll be a ridiculous amount.

I guess one man’s ridiculous is another man’s “nae bother”
From a technology perspective having test driven M3 CP and 4 years in 330d - the RS4 is head and shoulders above the current 3 series, I think it’s more akin to M5 levels of both useable performance and tech.

I used to drive an F01 740D xDrive. I loved to drive it, but the RS4 made me quickly forget it...
Awesome combo you found! I have mine in stealth mode (all black) but that green! Sweet.

Initial offer so far has been...
They clear off M3
I put in £2k
£1050 a month...
While it’s a lovely car I’m not sure it’s worth £265 a month more than my M3...
