I’m about to start researching insurance - 46 with pretty much zero no claims - over £1000 so far from comparethemarket, Aviva and DirectLine. Any suggestions really appreciated - I know it’s an individual thing but might be useful to share any particularly RS friendly firms?

Ended up with LV. I had Directline on my B8 and it was £450 last year £550 for a renewal and over a grand on the new car. LV came in at about £630 with protected NC, legal cover, hire car plus etc...

Mine's with Admiral through the CTM. Around £450 at 42 with 8years no claims. No request for a tracker or anything other than factory fitted security
Car used for general use and commuting and kept overnight on my drive. Based to 20k miles a year
