It's a new vehicle emissions testing standard.

Is the heated steering wheel flat bottomed? On configurator it showed a round wheel if you wanted it heated.
I am expecting a round steering wheel, when it turns up.

WLTP = Worldwide Harmonised Light Vehicle Test Procedure
shouldn't that have been WHLVTP?

The test referenced by the name is emissions.

Must be a country-local thing. The Audi Configuration for Switzerland is the same as ever.

The heated steering wheel is round.

I’ve just ordered mine and dealer indicated today he needed to “legally” write me a note saying all mpg figures were nonsense and subject to new review. As we would all know they are nonsense anyway but I guess some actually believe you could get 30+ out an RS4 ......

They aren't/weren’t nonsense. They were figures that were represetative of a standardised test. The test was not representative of standard driving, and therefore allowed frigures to be presented at an inflated point when compared to actual driving. To be fair, I have always managed to meet quoted efficiency figures on my cars. Not when I’m kicking it’s nuts, but on a standard (boring) drive they’ve never been unachievable.

The heated steering wheels have always been round so far, I imagine the B9 is no different.

So far we only know of the cheat software being used on the diesel but what your dealer is doing me makes me think Audi have been caught using cheat software on petrol engines,

Just went on to the configurator to build an RS4 and it just takes you to an error page. I would be surprised if they had pulled the link to just update the options although I'm sure this is possible....

I know they stopped taking new factory orders of the SQ5 yet you can still build that one. Anyone know what is going on?
