Mark, I couldn’t agree more. I test drove the b9 in some pretty rubbish weather and it still felt more planted and a lot faster than the b8.
I’ve been back to the dealer today as they have a much better specced car to look at other than the dogs dinner I looked at before ( which has unbelievably been sold. Buyer loved it apparently........ )
Think I’ll be ordering soon......

I think it's fair to say the B9 is night and day in terms of performance of the B7/B8 V8.
I'm sure some YouTube Journo will, at some point, do a drag race somewhere, but I'd put a big wedge on the B9 annihilating a B7/8 in a straight line and would say it'll be faster in the corners too as it's got a lot less nose weight

Of course there’s a difference, the RS5 is faster!

Yeah, 0.2 sec quicker to 60. I noticed that too.
And testers seem to beat that time quite easily.

It’s quite a bit lighter and more aerodynamic

And the ugly stick it’s been hit with must help it along!

I disagree, in the flesh in the right colour it looks superb, I’ve actually had people take pictures of mine when I’m driving past.

I’m not keen on the looks of the RS4, it’s all down to opinion at the end of the day.

I like the look of the new rs5. In the right colour and spec It’s a miles better looking car than it’s predecessor, the c63 coupe and the m4 too in my opinion

We all have our own opinions and for me it’s too fussy and too ‘american’. Didn’t much like the b8 rs5 either. The new rs4 is a little more under the radar ( if specced nicely ) which I prefer.

Show me a decent new car, even the the RS4 has a very strange arse, just look around the exhausts, what's all that about. Stupid :drink:
I must be getting old, the only decent car I like is the RS6 C7, but even that's a bloody bread van. What are Audi thinking, we all like Avants? :audibash:
When I rang Audi about no RS4 B8 saloon, they said we have the RS5. I don't want an RS5, I want an RS4 saloon.
