Thats going to be a pain in the arse for buyers new and used - even more so if your tax/mot/insurance/warranty is about to run out. Wasn't Cuttsy also carless for a few weeks for this very reason, awaiting his B9 RS4, getting shot of his old car early?

Yes exactly why I was carless due to my car taking almost 10 weeks from build week to pick up.

What apart from wireless charging does the phone box actually do? Unless your iPhone is plugged in apple car play doesn't work according to my dealer so I opted to exclude it.

Yeah, I couldn't work out what it actually does other wireless charging, as my iPhone doesn't do that (I don't think) it seemed like a waste of money unless it has some other special features ?
Could do with working out how the Audi app connection thing works as that means I can check fuel levels and lock/unlock doors with my phone, plus a lot of other location thingies that I can't currently connect to and don't actually need but quite want

That is something I have actually got to work. Sorry if you already have this info...You need the MMI connect app there are so may Audi apps on the App Store as well as the scratch off part on the plastic strip attached to you keys when you got the car. Then log into the myAudi website not the tracker site then you can confirm details from there... It took me a few attempts and there is a limit.

Maybe we should start a new thread with tips and tricks for your new RS4 car/tech

My worry is that Ofcom have decided the boost is too high and they want it turned down.

Had a quick look at TFM and yes it also boasts the signal utilising the external so there’s not so much radiation within the cabin. All the information is on Auk internal networks only. Nothing on WWW as yet.

My car has left the factory and awaiting to board a ship to the UK. Frustrating to know that some of us have yet to receive the car and first thing is that it is going to get is dismantled and some cables pulled out!

Ofcom can't sort out BT, but they have got time to mess about with signal boosters in cars!.

Haven’t a clue about checking lead times myself but dealer has mentioned June Build July Deliver. Was originally planning S4 Avant but I persuaded myself I’d always be wondering so went hot instead of warm. I actually feel these types of cars in this form won’t be about in 4 years so just went for it. Can’t wait.

Yes the phone box normally means the phone in the box will use the car's external aerial for better reception.

On my car I think you go to the sat nav menu screen and select online destination or something like that.
