My dealer told me initially it'd be mid to end April, so I guess it takes a while to go from QC to the port and onto the dealer.

Dealer has told me to expect the journey from build to dealers to be 2 to 5 weeks.

I offered to go and drive it myself but apparently they don't do that anymore (they used to back in the day).

FYI I ordered Saturday (RS5) and the build date has come to 14th May. That's an 8 week lead, plus 2 to 5 weeks delivery, sigh (1st world problems).

Mine was showing in QC for 10 days.
Here is a more accurate dates for you.
Build week 6 (5th feb)
Production complete 19th feb so out of QC
Released to port 20th feb
Arrived at port 1st March not sure which way it went!
Left Emden 17th March
At UK dock 19th March I think this also included unloading over a weekend and clearing customs.
As of today awaiting assignment to a transporter.

That appears more detailed than the tracker.
Are you getting the extra detail from the "Live Chat" in contact us?

Yes I recently asked for a report on where the car was at each point. You can also interrogate the data a little more in the back end of the tracker.

OK, I see a REST service & I wouldn't of thought of using the chat tool either. So thanks for the tips.

No worries here is repeat of the post from earlier...

If you log into the tracker and then in a separate window open this link but put in your order number where it says ORDER NUMBER HERE you get more info but its not pretty just text. You must already be logged in other wise it doesn't work.

https://www.audi.co.uk/myaudi-public-ap ... ders/ORDER NUMBER HERE

In the sixth line down it gives you the latest status number and that is where the tracker has your car.

This is taken from another site so can't guarantee accuracy but so far follows my cars journey.
Order Status 00 - Welcome
Order Status 10 - Order Received
Order Status 20 - Preparation
Order Status 21 - Panel Shop
Order Status 22 - Paint Shop
Order Status 23 - Assembly
Order Status 24 - Quality Control
Order Status 30 - 'Your Audi has left factory'
Order status 38 - 'Your Audi is at port of exit(Emden)'
Order Status 39 - 'Your Audi is in the UK'
Order Status 40 - Ready for transport to the dealer
Order Status 60 - Left the UK Port on the way to the dealer
Order Status 70 - Arrived at dealer - Call to make your collection plans

Cars normally sit in QC for about a week. Some a bit less, some a bit more. 10 to 14 days generally the worst case.

I'd say the average was about 4 weeks from build day to collection from the dealer.
