Ever so slightly smaller but not noticeable imho eg you can see it if both laid side by side but not when on the car.

@OU812, there are a few YouTube clips of how to change (front rings) ...... most are not pretty to look at but all get the job done.
This guy uses minimum tools that might scratch /dent the grill and so I attach this one FYI : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IJzh6aew6wE

I have the standard 19's and have fitted 12mm spacers front and 15mm spacers rear, I have also removed the front fender screw. I have had zero rubbing issues with it, even when driven had down country lanes.
Thanks - good to know. Are you pleased with the stance now? Mine will be going on later in the week.

:nogarors4:
It is much better than stock, however it could probably do with another 2mm at the front and the rear to make it perfect.
Yeah, stance is a tough one. I will be swapping the twin spoke wheels for the 5 arm milled ones soon. So I will move to 15mm rear and 10mm front as the offset on the milled wheels is different (4mm close to the arches) so my overall track will then be 1mm less on each side on each corner.
I’m also going to run winter tyres.

Question though..... should I paint my milled wheels black? Or satin bronze? Or copper? Or satin gold?

The colour is a good question you may want to keep them standard for now then look at powder coating them if your not happy with the standard look
The satin bronze against the green could look great but a safe bet would be satin black
You just might have to take the leap and try the bronze and if its hidious change them to black

I have Sonamo and black. It looks 10 million times better in the flesh. But you need to either paint the wheels or swap them. The graphite colours clash with green and black.

And then there’s the spacing issue. I have 15mm front and 20mm back which is super aggressive but worth it.
The wheel spacing is a bit odd from factory - maybe there are some regs about wheels/tyres not falling outwith the overall footprint of the bodyshell - I seem to remember hearing that the little plastic fender sticking out from the rear wheel arch on some older models (A3/A5?) was designed to defeat that and allow wider track. That could be nonsense though.

Have you had any issues with rubbing at that spacing? I have the standard 19"s and have 12mm spacers to fit all round, but then I think they have 2mm less offset than the 20"s and so should be no problem.

Do you have a picture Andy? And who supplied the spacers, bolts, locking nuts etc?
Thanks
Mark

I put H&R spacers on it that I got from Venom motorsports. Make sure you are clear that you have 66.5mm centres, they are the same spacers as you would put on the RS6.

Pictures attached.
