Edinburgh Audi said the launch would be very low key, not much more than whipping off a car cover. Woo.

I drove the then new B8 RS4 at Oulton Park; half day on the track and then a decent drive on the road

Anybody been offered anything or any word if Audi will be running an event?

Will say, marketing from Audi is simply rubbish. I've had fast Audis for the last 12 or more years yet nothing from them about the new car

Launch at my dealers is next weekend and I have a test drive booked for next Sunday.
You're right though; this is going to be very low key. I only knew about it after responding to an email from Audi offering a test drive. And that was only when the salesman rang and he told me it was the launch weekend.
I wonder how long the test drive will be......

Audi have given up. Stack ‘em high, sell them for as much as they can. Launch event for R8 was laughable so the RS4 wasn’t going to get anything.

Uk press have it this week, 20th official launch date.

15models being launched this year, basically one every 3weeks, dealer says that’s crazy in terms of keeping up with the specifics of each, hence the low Keyness.

what else is in the pipeline? there's the long standing rumour of a v6 R8...but not sure that'll materialise...

Aye, 15 is what he said, said they'd be in Germany at loads of events to get up to speed with them all.

SQ8 was another model mentioned, and a few E-tron variants. Can't remember exactly.
