One thing to note, the dealer cars are not uk spec.
Aberdeen’s is German spec and as such has alcantara steering wheel and gear knob, and has red details on the seatbelts. Both of which can’t be spec’d in the uk. There was some other things too but i’ve forgotten.

They also have a carbon edition coming. One of the two cars will get registered for demo, but it’s not confirmed which.

The Aberdeen car is £82k list, pretty high spec.

The screen on the dash is future proofing for a tech upgrade to touch screen led in the future without a dash re-design. Expect to see it in the new A8 etc later this year I was told.

I like it a lot more in the metal than I thought I would.

Official launch date is the 20th, they shouldn’t really have it in the showroom yet.

Be about July for an order now, they have 4 customer cars coming, two green ones.....

Think Green is going to be the colour for this car. different enough without throwing 2.5k at an exclusive...

Not if everyone orders it in Green........

Daytona really suits it, suits it a lot more than the B8 for sure.

Good point...for me, I'd take Nogaro again, wouldn't even be put off by the cost of the paint, I think the B9 suits that colour perfectly.

Was looking in to an M5 the other month, and they released with a Launch edition think it had 2 colour options - blue and red, limited run too...would have been an idea for the B9 - make green and blue the launch spec, then charge for it later down the line...

On the vids I've seen the green also had the seat stitching in green. Would that be standard?

I think there was a green RS5 at Audi Driver International and that had green stitching but a sign said not available in the UK.

Test drive for me on Sunday. Salesman sent me a video of it today.......and it's green! Looks good though but would be reluctant to order in that colour ( if I order ).
Looking forward to the drive. I'll report back on Sunday!

The wheels are surprising in the flesh. They have a nice curve to them. I think the diamond cut two tone finish means it takes this effect away but repainted in Titan I think they will look good
