Notice that a lot of the dealers in Scotland have started displaying the B9 RS4 in showrooms...anyone been up to take a look yet? from what I remember from the R8 launch, they were all too keen on starting it up...may be a chance to hear the noise in person...

I may take a wee trip out at the weekend to have a nose...

Not yet, local dealer should be getting in one next weekend, where i can test it. Looking forward to getting behind the wheel. Bit backwards, after ordering one before buying it. hopefully won't regret my decision.

Had a look around the daytona gray on at Aberdeen Audi yesterday
It certainty looks aggressive in the flesh
And the interior is as you would expect from Audi a quality finish
but im still not sold on the non retractable screen on the dash and cant understand why Audi BMW Mercedes have went this way just looks an after thought

But im looking forward when the get the car registered for test drives though

After reading this I volunteered to take wife's car in for service tomorrow. Maybe they have one in. Are any registered in the UK yet for test drives?

In the flesh it seems a bit smaller than the B8 although wider at the back, looks lower overall. Quite angular the press pics don't really show off the rear arches and the first mod I will be making is removing the quattro badge from the front.

Yeah might be a tad far. Hopefully might have one to see locally tomorrow.

I would also say the wheels need a little spacing to fill the arches
Still unsure about the standard 20" alloys
Would like to see the carbon addition alloys
In the flesh

Not seen it in the flesh (alright Kev and the grammar police, calm down), but I'd agree with that from the photos. It looks at a reasonable height, but needs decent wheel and if keeping standard wheels then they need a little spacing.

Car physically at Edinburgh Audi but not in the showroom yet. Expected to be in mid week for a low key launch next weekend.

Part of Lookers Group. 7 cars on the dealer page; 3 for sale. Salesman though they might wait till April 1st to register a car which on reflection is too long after the launch

Might have to get along there at some point this week. Was hoping Perth had one in but not seen anything yet...

Had a look at one yesterday, still in the protective wrap. This one had matt silver detailing at the front which made it very fussy. Mind you I didn't like the aluminium trimmed ones before either.

Not overly impressed by the inside (did get to sit in it and fire it up), very low sweep to the dash and the stuck on afterthought of a satnav. All screen driver"s display looked good though.

Engine start up from cold much quieter than the B8 bucket of bolts effect... ☺

Will have a test drive when they get a demonstrator in (I think this one is for the showroom).

Regarding the satnav, I was more impressed by the one in the Skoda Karoq I test drive just before (our other car is a manual 1.8 petrol Yeti - more fun than you might expect) which had a large, clear screen integrated into the dash. It had the same feeling of a good spot to drive from that the B8 RS4 has (everything clear and in reach), which I didn't immediately get with the B9 RS4. Maybe it'll be different after a proper test drive.
