I bought a 3 month old RS5 just before Christmas, the original owner bought in September and on the invoice it showed a £2k discount from Crewe Audi so it is possible!

My car was £76k list and got a cracking deal on it with less than 2k miles ;-)

I haven’t, but know someone that did
It works better than some of the other comparison sites (ie drive the deal) whereby the let you deal directly with the supplying dealer rather than having to order through them and not know which dealer it’s come from
My friend, who brought through broadspeed, I’m sure would speak highly of them

think you may have got bent over a little bit to be fair as you could have brought a new one and squeezed for more discount

Solihull (Birmingham) Listers Audi currently got the Audi extra event on. They currently offering £7500 off their current RS5 Misano red :bigwave:

The big issue here is the options. As previously mentioned, my B8 in Jan 2015 had a list of £62k new. From that £62k, £5k was options. To spec a B9 in exactly the same way today I would need £10k of options (a 100% increase!), and that takes the OTR cost of the B9 to £72k, another ten thousand pounds.

Nobody can justify that sort of increase. The cost of the options are obscene, especially when you compare it to other manufacturers. Show me a BMW or MB where to go up 1" in wheels size costs £2k, or £2k for adaptive suspension. Then look at their own options, £1250 for ACC which was free on our Golf! £950 for carbon inlays that used to be standard/free. then their new way of only seeing options in packs, so if you want B&O you have to spend £1300 on a pack.

Audi are taking the piss with their pricing. It started with the SQ7, and is now manifesting itself through all the new cars.

Each to their own, but I can't quite get my head around how anybody can rationally sit there and say, "£75k for an A4 estate, that's reasonable, I'm going to buy one". Not unless that person is in the fortunate position of not having to worry about money.
I brought my riv blue from the same dealer if you remember :biggrin3:

if not everyone is in the know. at first when the B8 was first released it didn't come with much on it at all. my dad spec'd about £11k worth of options on it just to make it worth while.
after at least 6 months (defo in the first year) Audi then decided to make majority of things standard, things such as flat bottom steering wheel etc.
they also started to offer the Sports Package and different alloys. at first only Rotas was available they came along the V Spokes.

I'm sure if we all wait patiently then hopefully by Q3 of this year we might see something

My car was a shade over £76k list, I saved nearly £16k by getting a 3 month old 2k mile car with one owner, I don't feel I got my pants pulled down :bigblink:

I found out today that last Friday Audi UK communicated to dealers about new 'deposit contribution' offers specifically on the S3, S4, RS3, RS4, RS5 and SQ7.

The specific RS4 figures have not been given to dealers yet, but the RS5 now has over £11k of 'discount available, made up of the following:
AUK deposit contribution: £2500
Centre deposit contribution: £8800

I'd expect RS4 discounts to follow...

Twas ever thus and not confined to Audi, I guess it's the price some are willing to pay and so long as they know what they're in for then fair enough.
