And you're forced to have carbon and silver not carbon and black on the carbon edition.

Carbon edition pictures now available internally. I'll post them in the CE thread.

Spec'ed up A C63 S similar spec at 72k but RWD no use in Jocklandshire
Indeed which is I went for an E43 wagon which is also 4x4

Pretty much fully loaded, list was £69k and paid £59k

It's a very nice place to be, better than the New RS5 I had for the weekend and sounds the same as that too.

If I had a £100k I would have had an E63 for the noise but I don't. Maybe something to aim for

From what I've heard there is going to be an Audi Sport pack offered on the car. It will contain DRC, Sports Exhaust and TPM, individual cost for these is £3,450 and the Audi Sport Pack is apparently going to be £2,250, so a £1,200 saving. If you read the RS5 brochure it now states that all three of these are available as part of an Audi Sport Pack but then does not offer this option!!!! As far as the Ceramic Brakes are concerned it is only the fronts that are Ceramic not the backs so £6K seems quite excessive.

I checked back to when I brought my old RS4 in 2013 and it was £63K full list but I got around £5K off that so the car was around £58K. I've specced up the new one to the same spec (or a near as) and its £76.5K with apparently no discount!! So that's effectively a 32% price increase in four and a bit years. I think I will only be interest when the discounts start to come in and the £76.5K car becomes a £65K car. :audibash:

An "Audi-Sport" pack has just been released for the TTRS and RS3, 6 months after the order books opened. It contains DRC, Sports Exhaust and TPM.

Yes, I've seen that, £1,700 if I remember.

Have a look here, its already showing as an option;

https://www.herefordaudi.co.uk/new-audi ... 1504/audi/

But I do understand that stealers are the last people to trust with this type of thing!!!

Like I said, if you download the RS5 brochure from the Audi website it does now say on DRC, Sports Exhaust and TPM that they are also available as part of an Audi Sport package but then does not show the package in the options list!!! My presumption is that they will also offer this on the RS4 at some point in the future.

Piss take. With the B8, the Sport Pack gave DRC, Sport Exhaust and 20s (and the unloved dynamic steering) for, what, £2k? So on the B9, those three options are going to cost more than twice that!?

The internal configurator had pictures added to it today, so I've created a colours thread here: viewtopic.php?f=131&t=126583

Nice Car 535. The interior of the new E class does look nice. I am considering an AMG C63S as discounts are about 11K on Carwow. But i suspect that is because a new facelifted version of the C Class is due soon with the new digital dash etc. I do think the new "rounder" styling on the C class leaves a lot to be desired though.

for me:-

Audi RS4
Positives: Looks - quite aggressive - except wheels
Negatives: Engine sounds a bit to "farty"

I am hoping suspension setup wont make the car too uncomfortable when cruising, as reports suggest the RS5 is quite comfortable as a GT car.

Merc C63S
Positives: Engine Sound
Negatives: Looks - not too keen on the "rounded" edges look on the current C Class. Also no digital dash ( i am a sucker for tech )

So polar opposites for me on both cars.
Current: 2018 RS4 B9 Avant
Gone: 2013 RR Evoque Dynamic Lux - Petrol
Gone: 2008 Mazda RX8 40th Anniversary Edition

I could have sworn the RS5 in the showroom had ceramic rears and they were about 8 or 9k. Which is about right compared to the C7 prices. I just checked the configurator and you are right it shows fronts only for 6k.
But even still, 6k for fronts is about what I'd expect for front ceramics. Weren't they 5k on the B7 11 years ago?
