Here in New Zealand I'm doing a track day next week with the new RS5 and they will have a pre-production RS4 for us to look over but no to drive obviously. New RS4 looks good on the video and I'm liking it on paper. If I trade up though I will seriously miss the extra 2000rpm and the great soundtrack of my B8 RS4.

when will they be available to the press to make driving reviews?

If they have managed to fix the flimsy interior, I’d probably forgive the loss of the V8. The acid test for me is driving down the swallwfield bypass.

I’ve never, ever been in an Audi which doesn’t ralltle loudly down that road.

Looks like there was a press event on in Spain, so there could be a few coming soon.
