Has anyone actually placed an order yet? if so, any discounts from RRP at the moment? i am loathed to buy another car at full asking price! I am thinking of getting one early next year, but only if prices become more reasonable.

I am told local dealer will get a demo car in late Jan 18, so pending a good test drive may be tempted. Don't understand how people order a car without seeing/driving it beforehand.

Yes....but for an AMG!

Got £10k off new one.

When I pre-ordered my RS4 I did so on the basis of a drive in the RS5 which I knew was going to be mechanically similar

Which AMG? love the look of the C63s. Plus the fact that its still retained the V8 is appealing.

Unfortunately I'm still losing the V8 but then as you say all cars are downsizing

Got a fully loaded E43 wagon coming which with discount still worked out cheaper than the spec I would have had on the RS4

Def, I'm gonna wait 'til nexr year before I look. I need the load carrying capability so an RS5 is not an option for me.

Drive the deal are offering around 10% discount on the RS5, hoping that will be the same when I change.

Has anyone come across a good dealer offerring good discounts, similar to the TRL in the BMW arena?
