It wasn't a good enough car in the first place.
There's no GT4RS......
That's the problem. If you want one there are several of the pre-built cars for sale at a reasonable price offering lots of discount on list. Audi UK still refuse to give an official status on the car, so there is a belief in dealers that the order books might open in the UK, they just don't know when. To compound this last week Audi USA opened their order books for the TTRS and there's no limited run.
Hence getting your name down for one...there's widespread chatter of one, and I'm sure i saw a more recent article than the link confirming from porsche that it'll be offered in manual and PDK...
Ah, i was thinking the prespecced were all taken, and as such, the Porsche phenomenon would kick in...not to the same level as the GT3's and R...but a few K may have been possible if the "i want one now" brigade was about.kmpowell wrote: ↑Thu May 25, 2017 2:40 pmThat's the problem. Saw this one yesterday in Lava Orange I think. It's a lovely car the GTS, although I'd have one with just the ducktail spoiler.
Won't be many with buckets or manual gearbox in the market. PDK RWD are the most plentiful in gen 1. Gen 2 has much improved infotainment.
I've always loved my Audis and was waiting for the new RS4 but tbh the B9, for some reason, wasn't doing it for me. So I've gone down the 2 car route - a focus for the dogs and a 991.1 2s for everything else, almost went for a GTS but the wife put a stop to it!N13LXC wrote:Ah, i was thinking the prespecced were all taken, and as such, the Porsche phenomenon would kick in...not to the same level as the GT3's and R...but a few K may have been possible if the "i want one now" brigade was about.kmpowell wrote: ↑Thu May 25, 2017 2:40 pmThat's the problem. However take Doodlebug's point...if the car isn't a legend to start with, the likelihood of a bump in value is low...
Currently, I'm looking at the 911 GTS as my next car...
drove the RS4 for the first time in two weeks today and if I'm honest, i still love it, but there's always something else I want! ha
