I'm hoping this coming week is still a possibility
The dealer called me end of last week to say it was on it's way, and that when it arrives with them, they can potentially turn it around within 24hours.
I've got a couple of free days this Thursday and Friday where I could pick it up, but next week is a bit more hectic with my day job, and I'd quite like it this week as I'm working at Silverstone on my other job next weekend.
We'll have to wait and see, but one thing's for sure, I'm way more excited about getting this one than I have been for any of my previous 4 new Rs cars

Inside your wheel as pictured you will see theses figures thd first is the width of the wheel this one is from a SQ5
So from the figures shown this is 8.5 inches wide by 20 inches in diameter and has an offset the ET number of 33
We know the width and diamiter of thd B9 20" alloys we just dont have an off set number so if you give can take a picture like the one shown we will know which alloys will fit and if spacers are required for any after market alloys
You are right I think you need to take the wheels off to see. I have had a thorough investigation and can not find anything on the inside of the wheel or inside wheel rim. Once it goes in for its ceramic coating I’ll ask them to photograph the inside of the wheel.

Is this a good deal? I'm guessing its a basic car although I actually like the wheels.

You are right it is a base car and probably their demo can’t say if it’s a good deal or not as so few second hand base cars about.

Not that this will help in anyway. My car was at the maximum time ‘apparently’ at every stage before anything could be done and took 10 weeks from build to me. I found the CS online team unhelpful and quite rude. Mine was at the UK port for two weeks according to the tracker although the online team disputed this and told me there was nothing they could do. Only after I picked up the car was there any real recognition of it being late. Apparently you could order a car and have a build week a month later than a previous customer and your car turn up first for exactly the same car including spec.

I think it is pure luck in where it is in the line of unloading and loading as well as clearing QC etc a bit like when you go through an airport especially when you go to the states, if you are at the back of the plane last off long queues at immigration then hoping your baggage is off first.

Fingers crossed for all those waiting it will be worth it.

This is a useful app, what is it?

Also, watching this thread in earnest guys, I'm having to wait for discounts on the RS4's to come down to similar levels to the RS5's (circa £10k?).

Enjoy your cars guys :thumb:
