Ian they’ve been fitting Hankooks for a couple years now. My sons A3 TDi came with them last year. I tested a S4 B9 last year and Hankooks. SQ7 I looked at was on 22inch Hankooks. They’re not a bad tyre grip wise but wear quick. My sons has only done 9000 miles on his and they’re nearly dead on the front.
Current ride’s
Q7 Floret Silver Black Edition On 22’s (2018)
Renault Clio 172 Cup. (Babe the track pig)

Previous rides
SQ5 Glacier white( 2016 65reg)
RS6 avant C7 Daytona Grey 2015 facelift. The one I waved goodbye to!!
2013: Q7 3.0 tdi s/line plus ibis white (13reg)
2012: S5 cabriolet glacier white (62 reg)
2011: RS4 saloon B7. Avus (57 reg)

Congrats. I seem to think the lighter colours (and primer) suit the B9’s the best. :thumb:

Although not seen as a premium brand they are probably no worse than the other crap tyres they supply.

Nice. I've never noticed the black spoiler type bit at the side of the rear window before.

I think it’s just pot luck what tyres you get nowadays. I’m sure no matter what we get they’ll be changed to fat boy ones ( Michelins)!when they wear out. 👍

Yes they are Hankooks Iuck of the draw I think. On the upside though they have the best rim protection I have seen. On the subject of keyless entry, yes you can turn it off in the MMI and I have done, the other thing to note is you get two keys as usual and apparently only one of them is the keyless entry key, they are different in appearance.

Went for a little blast tonight and I have to say the improvement on my previous RS4 is considerable in many ways a real step up/forward. The engine noise isn't the same and is no louder and not as deep than the B8 but the B8 noise isn't brilliant anyway even with the sport exhaust.

The quality of the interior is fantastic and the technology is going to take a while to properly understand.

One surprise is even though it is on AVS it will need an oil change at 10K miles regardless.

Very Happy.

That is interesting (to me at least). Image
I think that means there are 2 ways to disable the keyless entry. One way is via MMI and the other is to remove battery from the 'keyless entry key' and use the other key as your main key.
