I'd be very very very surprised if it was anything other than a 6 cylinder forced induction.

Details have already been released regarding v6 bi-electric turbo, no supercharging. Audi have dropped the supercharge v6. B9 S4 and RS4 will have fundermentally the same power unit. S4 standard variable turbos, RS4 electric turbos.

Power output for RS4 has been rumoured at 460ps - 480ps according o Audi insiders

I heard it will be supplied with Frickin V10 Turbo lazors.

All from the lady that serves up the chips in the canteen in the Audi development centre. She overheard Fritz and Claus, who were using their own version of blink talking so no one else knew what they were saying. Anyway, Helga (chip lady) just happens to know that the three winks and two blinks that Fritz did to Claus was an agreement on the technology being viable. She told her 8 year old son whilst dishing up dinner that night. His uncle is married to a cleaner who's sister has a brother who works in Audi UK Head Office in Milton Keynes.

So it must be true........ :biggrin2:
It's all torque talk.

It's the Milton Keynes connection that makes it valid.
No matter where you go, there you are.

A German website is claiming to have obtained a scoop picture of the revised Audi MY (model year, not actual year/month of release) product road-map, and the B9 RS4 is nowhere in to be seen. That is unless it's further along than anybody thought and it's due to be released this year. From what I've been told the B9 schedule (including the S4 has been severely delayed), so perhaps a B9 RS4 been canned?!?
