Old vs FL on pre FL wheel... Have a few of them if anyone interested.
Do you have to remove the steering wheel to install them?
Do they need coding?
All black B9 RS4

No coding needed, they are plug and play you just need to remove airbag, steering wheel don't need to be removed.
Kind Regards

What Car? Have just posted their test on the latest RS4. Plot spoiler-they don’t like it!
Lots of What Car! reviews are a bit baffling to be honest and I’m far more inclined to go with a performance bible such as Evo Magazine but each to their own I guess.

They seem to have tested a different car as the RS4 does not have a second mmi with temperature controls etc, they are analogue knobs!! Strange how every other review rates the car very highly, I have never thought much of What Car and the lack of any checking on the accuracy of the test just confirms this.
Agree that Evo or Car are much better.

Although I’ve never driven an RS4, I’m looking forward to picking her up on Wednesday.
The 2 star rating by WhatCar is both concerning and confusng, especially in light of other reviews that I’ve read which are very complimentary.
Also carwow Matt and Joe Achilles love it.

Seeing as I posted that review I wouldn’t lose too much sleep over it. What Car cater for every type of car so could hardly be classed as a performance car specialist.
I wouldn’t read too much into it from a publisher that also covers Nissan micros and ford Mondeos....
Although I’m in a B9 RS5 it’s the same
Engine and the way it gathers pace is pretty astonishing. Just wish it was louder that’s all....

I’m getting a standard RS4 in nogaro blue, with sports exhaust, 20” wheels, DRC, comfort pack and driver assistance pack.

That’s good to know, stevo

. I’ve specced the sports exhaust, but I think I’m gonna be disappointed in the sound.
I’m currently driving a 440i with power and sound upgrade - it sounds lovely and has a great engine. I’m working on the assumption that the RS4 engine is even better

.

I am finding living with the Audi gearbox very different to the BMW gearbox. It will be interesting to hear what you think after you have lived with it a while.
What gearbox did you have in the 440i?

It’s the same ZF 8 speed automatic that’s in the RS4.
In what way are you finding it different?

It is quite interesting, they may be the same mechanical components but Audi and BMW just seem to calibrate them quite differently.
