Isn't a PDF Brochure Electronic ?
I suppose models change that quickly they would be developing brochures all the time.

It was nice to have them on a pdf,, the Configurator is not the same

Just to double down on this I decided to use the Audi UK Configurator to price up my current car but in the FL version. Someone very kindly sent me the B9 brochure and price list for the MY 2018/19 model that I have and that came up with a cost of just over £82k (it's got most boxes ticked). On the 2020 configurator can't find DRC, red brake calipers, interior dark carbon, HUD anywhere? Simply doesn't give you those options. On the RS4 configurator, you can get all of those? Plus.....whatever happened to the Laser Lights that were showcased in all the press launches?

Select the RS 4 Vorsprung edition, this should have most of the above.

The RS 4 Carbon Black edition also had DRC, red brake calipers but no HUD.

It's a shame you can't select the options you need but have to start with a specific model, I think this was mentioned previously on this thread.

Vorsprung has all those options bar the carbon, which you can’t spec. Red callipers are optional extra.
They’ve simplified it to 3 variants with very few options as extra.
Makes it easier for Audi but unfortunately you may not be able to have the definitive spec you want.
I was lucky; Vorsprung was spot on for me.

With all the rest on it, the configurator is coming in at £86,231.00!! Ouch. Glad I paid £38k less than that for a low mileage immaculate 2018 model last month.

I am sure the DRC on the new 20 model is an option across the board.

My Carbon black defiantly does not have it - it is a £2000 option and I don't feel I needed it- car runs great without it. More hassle that is worth

Yes the spec on the latest models is very limited & due to the WLTP laws & testing on individual options - crazy really.

I had been looking for 18 plate cars used for a few months & most I looked at had marks on them & never the spec I wanted. - it the past I've been fed up with purchasing second hand especially with these top end performance cars - as you never really know the cars history no matter how low the mileage is.

Agreed I will certainly lose a lot more money but got the spec & colour I wanted with not miles on the clock.

Thanks mate-was looking for ages and was originally going back to a C7 RS6 but when the one I bought popped up at Audi I rushed down to have a look (lucky as others have said they were going for it as well). The latest tech really made the 6 look dated (although I still miss the savage ness of it plus engine and exhaust note) so I snapped it up.
Really low miles (Jan 2018 and just over 12k miles) and also the previous owner immediately put £2k of paint protection film on it.
I think the only spec it doesn’t have is CCB and carbon roof or exterior carbon (mirror housing is carbon though). One of those rare ones that I was lucky to notice as soon as it went on the Audi site. Cost me just under £49k which ain’t bad considering the new price. The RS4 was still slightly above budget and none had the spec the 5 has. Handles better than I thought and surprisingly close to my last performance car which was a 2017 M3 CP. Really really happy. When we get to drive our cars that is

I went in 2018 for a test drive with every intention of ordering but i wasn’t enamoured with the colour choices barring nogaro as an exclusive colour.
Anyway, the exclusive option went out of the window when I found you couldn’t order so in the end it was academic as you couldn’t order a new car anyway.
Anyway, fast forward to this year and I’d ordered a new Defender ( great car BTW ). But then I saw the FL RS4.....
Couldn’t believe how much better it looked so ordered straight away in turbo blue. Granted it’s not Nogaro but I really like it!
Anyway, with the options I wanted I had to get the Vorsprung, but if I could have had different wheels I’d have probably had the carbon black and forgone the HUD and possibly the DRC.
Anyway in the end at the price point these cars are I thought ‘sod it’ just get the Vorsprung!
Very glad I did now even in these uncertain times that we’re in.
It’s such a good car and with the FL looks even better!
Can’t wait to be able to actually use it!!

Sounds Great Nastro - Likewise , the WLTP stopped me buying what I wanted in 2018-.

Ordered mine just before the lockdown here in Italy. Still waiting for it. Before the production halt delivery was planned for the end of may. I’m happy to wait at the moment, these days I might be ashamed of spending so much on a car even if I’ll pay around 3k Euro per year in ownership tax only.

However spec in Italy are quite different. I almost loaded it with everything except from the rooftop which I never liked on non-black cars. I was ready to order an exclusive color (dark blue o dark green) but ended with the Daytona.
The only thing I’m not sure about are the wheels, I went for the 19’ both because roads are very bad here/I will use the car in the alps every winter/havent really fell in love with any 20’ design.

I really decided myself to go for this FL version because it’s more understated than the NFL and because as someone have said above I’m afraid the next one will have an electric motor somewhere. We had to go for this pure V6 turbo which kind of evokes RS2 memories.
