Has anyone experienced interior wrapping, I’ve read it can fade due to uv exposure and lift over time so I’d consigned that idea to the bin. Is there any difference in the materials used inside or out, most people say external wrapping lasts well but it’s clearly in a harsher environment out there?
I think the carbon trim looks awesome but can’t justify £2k for good quantity aftermarket parts... and daren’t ask what the OEM parts cost :o

The ally trim looks OK in the picture but it’s the only feature I’m close to hating
Like wise. The Germans have a choice of Matt or Gloss Carbon interior trim. The Matt looks awesome from what I have seen of it . I guess it’s very expensive as an aftermarket product, and I would want to attempt fitting it myself!

I have not actually seen the ally trim in the flesh and was hoping that it looked better than in the pictures🤨

I had it on a B9 loan car. Just an S line but am assuming it’s the same? I’m afraid to say I was not impressed at all. An RS warrants better imo.

It’s slightly better than the standard ally but still not what you’d expect on the flagship model. Unfortunately there is no option to choose anything else unless you upgrade to the carbon black edition, which was another £8k or so.

Thanks for the tip Brookner, I’ve PM’d Litledevil

I had gloss carbon in my old B8 which was really nice.
I’ve got piano black in this car which gives it a more luxurious rather than a sports feel if you get what I mean?
As I get older I appreciate the more luxurious feeling 😂

Its strange how they have limited the options, on my S4 there were about 4 different options and I had piano black which looked good for at least 10 minutes after it had been cleaned - actually I like it but not enough to keep the car😉

I think it’s to do with the WLTP testing which requires all options to be tested, hence allowing all the options to be selectable individually, would mean an impossible number of combinations would require testing. I had the piano black in my 272 which I though looked good, but having seen the carbon I think the matte OEM style ones are the way to go.

The WTLP laws apply to all markets, yet the Germans have the full range of options to select from on the Audi.de configuration?
Does not make sense.

Agreed, it is crazy on a 75K Carbon black the options are fixed, although I do think the interior Carbon trim looks stunning - I wish I could spec Carbon on the centre console.
This is currently Piano Black- it does look good but Piano black from my experience & previous models it scratches & marks so easy !!.

Well I’ve got my car now so it’s academic really.
Would probably have picked the piano black anyway!

Yeh, a meet would be good.
I only washed my car yesterday and it’s got dirty already!
With all the time I’ve had I’ve actually been getting to grips with all the functions available.
Never do that normally!
That said, with so many functions I’m forgetting some already!!

Rs4spark, your carbon looks stunning is the trim gloss or matt? it looks shiny in the picture. I’m looking at buying a set and have a choice and am tempted by the matt
