This is a crazy matter for me, when I tried to purchase my rs4 in September 19, I had many visits to showroom computer say’s No, ended up with a car from another dealer who had something in stock Newcastle, local Carlisle had nothing at the time and could not order a specific car.

It appears it is still a problem, reason being I Do not want DRC as I need a tow bar for my bicycle, so Vorsprung option no good even though it has most of my options as standard
Sun roof. However if I select standard or carbon model, I can not then choose to add the sunroof, wireless charging to name but 2.
Frustrating in so many ways, like the rs4 but finding a new or 23 plate with spec similar to the sport edition is looking impossible.
Will let you know what I end up with on or before September coming

Yes, thanks to WLTP, from the the B9.5 onward you can no longer specify fine-grained options selections like sunroofs, or wireless charging on the configurators, it's all just pre-packaged trim levels. This makes it far easier for them to test and provide fuel consumption and emissions figures for every possible combination of options, since they reduce the combinations from hundreds down to 3 or 4. Sucks for the consumer though who has specific wants regarding options.
