Rs4 b9 pads
Rs4 b9 pads
Any recommendations for b9 pads? I've always gone with Pagid from euros in other cars but are they up to the job on the rs4...

Might help you get some answers mate if you open up about your style of driving.
Are you road only, track, bit of both.. do you give the car the message frequently or just toddle about to the shops etc..
Brakes are very much a personal thing and one "size" doesn't fit all..

How about a crazy nut case who finds the car doesn’t stop when you need to chuck the anchor out?

I had the same issue with mine - was an ex press car so could have been hammered anyway in the 6,000 miles it had done when I got it - swapped the stock pads for EBC Redstuffs - much better initial bite - numbers here:Rusty Racer wrote: ↑Sat Apr 01, 2023 8:11 pmHow about a crazy nut case who finds the car doesn’t stop when you need to chuck the anchor out?![]()

Re: Rs4 b9 pads
I've miles more experience with bike brakes, this type of question often raises its head on various bike forums..the stock answer for non specific riding and therefore most likely driving would likely fall back to OE pads, they are usually a good shout and hit that optimum of price point v performance.
I've never used anything other than OE on my S4 and RS4s and find them absolutely fine, which restricts my input.
Bikes are way easier to experiment with, a set of pads can be as low as £50.00 per axle set and can be fitted in minutes. Top quality track/race only pads for the same bike can easily top £250.00 per axle set. These will not operate safely on the road as they won't get up to temp.. I know.. none of this helps lol
