My question is can I use any battery tender on my car or do I need a type specific.
Also can I attach it directly to the battery terminals, as I do with my motorbikes.

When you say tender, do you mean charger / maintenance charger (like a ctek or noco)?

I've used a noco on mine for charging / battery health and it's fine. Connect to the terminals under the bonnet rather than directly to the battery.

Yes I did mean charger/ tender.
I was wanting to in stall a plug in connector and I normally use battery connections on my motorbikes and older cars, but was not sure about their car.
Many thanks will check outunder bonnet to see where I can connect.
