The subject of getting an RS exhaust to sound right has arisen before, with a Cete AVC being the 1st option and the 2nd being perhaps a Miltek...well there is another:
After waiting many months I finally got an appointment with Paul @ PCW Exhaust Mods down on the southern side of Milton Keynes. The conversation goes something like this "What do you want?" "Louder with no drone?" "Sounds perfect".
The car goes on a 2 post lift and the exhaust is dropped off - on the upper, invisible side of the exhaust boxes Paul cuts holes to expose the internals, does his stuff and then neatly welds the boxes shut again before the refitting the exhaust. The end result is an RS that sounds like it should. https://www.exhaustmods.co.uk/
