Not sure actually, I would doubt it as they are still working just clearly sticking / squeaking when they open / close.

My B8 was not covered for the rear box as I believe exhausts are not covered.
A bit like a rusty subframe is not considered part of the bodywork lol

Annoying it seems it is covered under the 3 year manufacturers warranty but not the extended.

Could be worse, Audi replace the exhaust under warranty but then deny scratching the bodywork when you collect the car.

Decided to tackle it myself with a tub of copper grease and a long paintbrush. Slapped it on, job done, it worked!

So angry the dealer didn't even try to help the issue. In hindsight I should have tried this first, just didn't realise how simple it would be.

Put a Cete AVC on it, keep the valves permanently open - sorted?
