Hi all
new to the forum and weighing up a brand new b9 via finance or a b8 straight cash.
Struggling to see any information on finance offers and wondered if anyone had info or quotes they could share?
Just wondered if anyone had anything indicative before i start ringing round dealers just to see if it has any legs.
cheers

As I've written before if you buy new your lose the following the moment you drive it away from the dealership:
1) The VAT
2) Delivery
3) 1st Registration fee
4) Virtually all of the value of the options...
So don't buy new - wait for 9 months or so.

Always puzzled over this how do you lose the VAT?
Re: New Sport Edition Finance Info/Quote
On most cars you do indeed see a 20% + hit on list from day 1. But few cars sell at list, and those that do - eg GT3 - rarely lose much at all. The RS4 is quite strong price wise for nearly new cars. Sadly not as good as a GT3 that can appreciate 20% the moment you drive it off the forecourt.
Re: New Sport Edition Finance Info/Quote
On a used car the dealer only pays VAT on the profit in the vehicle not the whole thing - so the subsequent loss isn't so great.

Re: New Sport Edition Finance Info/Quote
Hi all. Quick update in that I had some quotes and it was roughly coming in at £20,000 deposit and £700 per month on PCP which is a fair bit more than I want to pay.
I will therefore pursue the B8 Avenue which will allow me to pay cash and avoid finance which is good.
Will post in the B8 forum and see of anyone knows of any good uns for sale.
cheers
