Hi Steve great review of your first 250 miles. I’ve done just over 2000km in mine now, and like others here I’m falling more and more in love with it. Such a versatile car and a true “next level” improvement over my 2015 B8. DRC comes standard in New Zealand, as it did in the B8, and the B9 version is greatly improved. I have it set to comfort most of the time, but Dynamic certainly tenses things up nicely for the twisty stuff, without the “trolley jack” feel that it had in the B8. Agree also that S mode in the transmission is so much easier to live with for around town “peppy” driving, as opposed to the B8 which was either asleep and sluggish in “D” or bellowing through the traffic at 6000 rpm in “S”, with nothing in between. The B9 in “S” is always on the power but with the torque available at lower rpm it’s able to get through town without being quite as anti-social as the B8.

I followed the manual in terms of running in, and am now enjoying full throttle and rpm. So quick and agile. NZ is full of roads with limited overtaking opportunities, and thing is magic for safely getting out and around and back on the right (left!) side of the road in no time. The only problem is having to quickly scrub off all that extra speed in order to avoid any law enforcement moments - 90km/h to loss of license km/h in a matter of a few seconds!
