Strange, Phil. You'd think that would be a global, not user setting !

Time is relative.... to where you are and what time of year.

I can see how you would expect the software to present you with the date and time (inc DST) based on the timezone you set... Alas it does not; so, just like any clock, you have to change it manually :)

Thanks Phil - it's been puzzling me (although agree that it's an unusual solution!)
